Aloud — Privacy Policy

Aloud is designed to be private by default.
What we collect
Nothing. Aloud does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal
data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
How your text and audio are handled
- The text you type or paste is processed entirely on your device using
Apple’s built-in speech synthesis. It is never sent to us or any third party.
- Audio you generate is created on your device. When you tap Share, the
audio file is handed to the standard iOS share sheet — you choose where it
goes. Aloud does not upload it anywhere.
- Aloud has no server and makes no network requests of its own.
Permissions
- Pasteboard: when you tap the paste button, Aloud reads text from your
clipboard so it can be spoken. This happens only when you ask it to, and the
text is used only to generate speech on your device.
Children’s privacy
Aloud does not collect data from anyone, including children.
